I don't live down near the coast, so it was tough for me to get any open water photos. I opted to take photos of water around my area, and with my luck, everything was frozen thanks to this cold spell we're in!
The photo of the water in the glass was me trying to be slightly creative. I know it drifts out of the scope of the assignment of bodies of water, but I thought it'd be fun.
Perfect Dan. Just as I hoped for this assignment. I can clearly see that you understand the concept of editing by highlighting the focal point and quieting areas that are not the focal point… Especially the outside edge. I can also see how your vision of these winter water scapes aligns with the first assignment. There currently is attention paid to composition and how all the elements work together in the frame. One small and minor note the very bottom picture is a bit blue. You can adjust that with menu item images> adjustment> color balance and add a little red and possibly a little yellow. It's probably my least favorite shot in some ways but I do appreciate the alternate vision of water!
