  2. Okay nice series Madison… I look through your Google drive and noticed you didn't include any from the shooting range. I felt the were especially applicable to this assignment as they dealt with geometry more head on. Starting with the first one at the top I see you're interested in the concept of depth of field fall off and perspective shooting. If you like this one is a bit more applicable to the macro project possibly. The sky in the upper right is somewhat distracting… It's a pet peeve of mine to ask you all to not include sky and a picture unless it's about the sky… Mostly because your camera can't capture tonality and it just becomes a blown out blotch.

Terms of the second one I would've brought more light onto the building and darken the sky a bit more and color balanced it a little bit warmer. Because there's so much light in the sky the side of the building is a little underexposed… But that can be brought up with levels in Photoshop. I'm wondering why the pictures are appearing small on the blog when you click on it it expands into its own window and usually it fills up a good portion of the window at 1600 pixels by 1200 pixels… In your case it's considerably smaller here I did check your pictures on your drive and downloaded a couple and do see that they are full-size however.

I like how you lined up the shot of the L repertory theater I'd like to bring more light into the door as I see that is the focal point of the picture and slightly darken the edges of the staircase

Like the first one this is more about one point perspective and depth of field fall off and macro shooting also a good fit into the light and shadow one but all in all it's good and it works for this assignment.

Number five is the least favorite of the group the out of focus object in the foreground the blown out light on it and the lens flare creeping in from the left all work to weaken the shot.
The columns and shot six is well seen might bring a touch more light in into the center again and it to a small… don't know why.

Number eight is a bit dark and a photograph of the whole Eagle is less interesting to me then finding elements of it create an interesting composition. I do like the staircase on very much and how you edited it to become black-and-white. Number 10 also has lots of lens flare and your main object is backlit and somewhat dark… It to fit into the macro assignment better.

All in all a good series I can see how your thinking visually and working to edit them so it's a great start.
