When is work due?

 The college requires me to take attendance 2 times each week... I have worked it out to take attendance on Monday morning for the previous week's work.... That gives you the week-end to finish up your work... The point of an asynchronous class is to give you the flexibility to choose when to put your attention on your work for this class...

So.. work is due by 9 am on Monday morning each week.  I will check to see that you have posted to the blog and your Google Drive on Monday after that and submit 2 attendance records for you based on what I see.

Some Thoughts

 Everyone:  As you go shooting, remember to upload your work to Google Drive... 

Photo I: All in all, you should put about 50 shots for each assignment into a sub-folder then your best edits in a sub, sub-folder called edits... There should be 10 edits derived from 50 shots....

Photo II:  It's very important to post one or more ideas about your term project for feedback from me... I will help you clarify your thinking and help suggest a way forward... That should be now so you can get moving on your work... 

Composition

This is one of my composition shots from this afternoon. The cloudy sky made it challenging to get the shot I was looking for, but I did have fun with the editing in Lightroom.

Introduction

 

Hi, my name is Jazzlyn Constantin and this is my fourth year at Albertus. I am a photography major at the school and working towards my bachelors degree. I have always taken photos on my phone, but now I have a Canon EOS rebel T5. I will also be shooting with my iPhone 11. Photography has always been something I was into since about 2015, to me it is just something so beautiful, from the candid's to professional shoots. I look forward to continuing my photo knowledge in this class.

Introduction

 

Hi, Everyone. I’m George Petrunia. This is my third year pursuing a bachelor’s degree in sociology and criminal justice. I am also an employee of Albertus Magnus, and have worked here since 2005. My photos will be taken on an iPhone 11 Pro Max. I will be editing on my iPad or gaming laptop. I look forward to working with everyone. This is the second digital photography class I have taken since I decided to return to school. During high school, I was able to take an introductory course, and I enjoyed it immensely. I never pursued any further instruction in the artform, but I never forgot the basics of what I learned all those years ago. As much as I enjoy photography and filmmaking, I have always been focused the bulk of my creative energy toward writing. Courses like this are a nice change for me. I’m not terribly fond of being in photos myself, so I apologize for re-using one from last class.
